Janakpurdham, Dec. 16: Minister for Urban Development, Ramkumari Jhakri and Chief Minister of Province 2, Lalbabu Raut jointly inaugurated the COVID-19 Vaccine Storage House built at Mujeliya in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City on Wednesday.
The vaccine storage house was built in coordination with the federal and province governments at a cost of Rs. 7,700,000.

With the help of UNICEF, two walk-in coolers of 4,000-litre capacity have been installed at the storage.
Similarly, Minister Jhakri and Chief Minister Raut have jointly laid the foundation stone for the construction of buildings of Public Health Laboratory and Province Medical Store.
Both the projects will be constructed on the premises of the Rural Training Centre in Janakpurdham. The laboratory is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 70.2 million and will be completed by 2023.

Similarly, medical store will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 40 million and will be completed within one and a half years, informed Ek Raj Adhikari, chief of the project.
Inaugurating the project, Minister Jhakri said that the three tier of government had equal responsibility for the development of education and health sector. She said that the governments should work honestly for the development of the nation.

No citizen would be deprived of food, shelter and clothes, she added. The current government has placed citizens at the centre, said Jhakri, adding that the federal government was committed for the overall development of Janakpurdham of Province 2. Minister Jhakri said that the federal government was ready to manage land for the construction of a bus park and a stadium.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Raut said that the inauguration and foundation stone laying for the project was a great example of coordination among three tiers of government.
