By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 29: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 210 cases of COVID-19 today.
In 6,037 Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests performed in the last 24 hours, as many as 210 persons were found with the virus infection, said Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
The new cases were detected in Morang, Sunsari, Saptari, Sarlahi, Dhanusa, Mahottari, Parsa, Bhaktapur, Dhading, Kapilvastu, Kathmandu, Nawalparasi (East), Rautahat, Saptari, Baglung, Syangja, Myagdi, Tanahun, Surkhet, Baitadi, Doti, Kailali and Kanchanpur.
Meanwhile, 146 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in various health facilities across the nation were discharged in the last 24 hours after recovering from the virus.
The recovery rate now stands at 72.07 per cent.
Currently, there are 5,360 active cases of COVID-19 and 14,471 are in quarantine.
With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 19,273 including 14,021 cases of recovery and 49 death cases.
