By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 7: A total of 805 people have been found infected with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. 667 people were found infected through the PCR tests and 138 through the antigen test.
Some 7,267 PCR tests were done in the last 24 hours while the number of people who went through antigen test was 3,408.
Ministry of Health and Population has stated that the rate of recovery from COVID-19 stands at 96.6 in Nepal.
Some 911 people recovered from the virus infection whereas eight infected with COVID-19 succumbed to the disease in the past 24 hours taking the national COVID-19 toll to 11,200.
Presently there are 15,942 active cases of COVID-19 in Nepal.
Meanwhile, some 57,158 people were administered vaccines against COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
