By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan. 5: As many as 370 people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the PCR test of the swab samples of 6,715 people across the country in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 65 people were found infected with the same virus in the antigen test of 3,552 people.
239 people have recovered from the virus infection in the same period, and the recovery rate stands at 98 per cent.
No death due to the virus infection, or COVID-19, was reported in the last 24 hours. So far, 11,601 people have died of COVID-19.
There are 5,525 active cases of COVID-19 in the country to date.
As many as 240,338 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the MoHP.
