By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 30: As many as 235 people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the PCR tests of the swab samples of 6,184 people across the country in the last 24 hours.
Similarly, six people have been confirmed to have been infected with the virus through the antigen test of 2,083 people, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Meanwhile, 228 people got over the virus infection in the same period, according to the MoHP. Nepal's COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 97.9 per cent.
There was no report of death due to COVID-19 in the period. COVID-19 death tally in the country was 11,590 as of Wednesday.
There are 4871 active cases of COVID-19 across the country as of Thursday, according to the MoHP. 56,112 people were administered the anti-COVID-19 vaccines in the last 24 hours.
