By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 29: As many as 209 people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the PCR tests of the swab samples of 6,433 people across the country in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 11 other people were found infected with the virus in the 1175 antigen tests.
Meanwhile, 253 people got over the virus infection in the same period, and the recovery rate now stands at 98 per cent.
Two persons, however, succumbed to the virus that causes COVID-19, taking the national COVID-19 death tally to 11, 590.
There are 4,464 active cases of the virus infection across the country, according to the MoHP.
