Kathmandu, March 5 : A total of 91 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the past 24 hours across the country. No COVID-related death was confirmed during the same period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The new cases were confirmed from the PCR and antigen tests on 6,220 people, according to the Ministry. With this, the total number of COVID-19 infection has reached 977,447 in the country as of March 5.
Similarly, during the same period altogether 362 infected patients got recovery, taking the recovery caseload to 958,555. The recovery rate is 98.1 percent, said the Ministry.
Currently, there are altogether 6,947 active cases of COVID-19 in the country.
On Saturday, more than 200,000 people received vaccines against COVID-19, according to the Ministry.
