Kathmandu, Aug. 9: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the country was on the path of development and prosperity by ending the political transition.
In a message delivered today on the occasion of the 26th International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, PM Oli said that Nepal is heading of the path of development and prosperity by ending the political transition by constitutionally safeguarding the achievements of decades long political struggles.
The government was sincerely active to build an equitable society along with the economic equality by ensuring access and representation of the indigenous people in the national life though the promotion and development of their social, economic, cultural, lingual, arts, literature and skills as per the Constitution of Nepal and existing laws, the PM stated in his message.
PM Oli has also urged one and all to remain active from their respective positions to make this objective a success. In view of the pandemic coronavirus infection, the PM has asked the indigenous people to mark this day in a constructive and secured manner.
