Hetauda, Jan 30: Chief Minister of Bagmati state, Dormani Poudel, said that the country has now achieved federal democratic republican system after facing many challenges in the past.
At an assembly organised by Bagmati state government on the occasion of Martyrs' Day, Chief Minister Poudel said that he was determined to fulfill dreams of martyrs who sacrificed their valuable lives for the sake of the nation and the people in the movements held for democracy, equality and justice.
On the occasion, he paid heartfelt respects and tribute to martyrs, who got martyrdom in all movements held so far since 1997 BS for the rights.
Saying issues of rights have been enlisted in the constitution and it has been addressed, the Chief Minister argued that they have become successful to run the state affairs as per the rule of law and in deference to the constitution written by the people's representatives.
He expressed commitment to move ahead on the path of truth and justice shown by the martyrs, while paying tribute to the martyrs.
