Kathmandu, Dec. 1: The main opposition party, Nepali Congress, on Sunday said that it was excited from by-election results.
Talking with The Rising Nepal, NC spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma said that the results of the by-election announced so far have been as per the party’s expectations.
He said his party would narrowing gap of vote with the ruling Communist Party of Nepal.
“The NC also add its vote in comparison of last elections,” he said.
He claimed the NC is increasing its position in the by-election. “The NC will bag some seat in this election,” he said.
The party analyzed that some seat in local level will bag by the ruling CPN as the party was different two-the Nepal Communist Party (UML) and the Maoist Centre (MC) in election had held before two year.
The party said it was its success that Krishna Lal Bhandel secured victory as State Assembly member from Bhaktapur province 1 (A).
