Chitwan, Sept 24 : The College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital (CMSTH) (Old Medical College) has launched integrated outpatient department service. With this, patients visiting OPD at the hospital could receive all sorts of medical services from a single place.
"Now patients can get all sorts of medical services like ticketing bookings, various medical tests and availability of medicines from a single place," said residential director of the hospital Dr Manohar Pradhan.
Areas for patient attendants have also been managed. "This is the first hospital in the country wherein patients can get all sorts of medical services from a single venue," he claimed.
There are 19 wards under 11 departments at the hospital.
It has been offering various medical services like general surgery, stomach and liver surgery and neuro surgery, neurology and vascular among others. It receives more than 650 patients on a daily basis.
