By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 25: State Councilor and Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China Wang Yi has arrived in Kathmandu.
The Chinese Foreign Minister is here for a three-day official visit at the invitation of Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka.
Foreign Minister Wang is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his Nepali counterpart Dr. Khadka tomorrow and pay courtesy calls on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday.
He will also hold meetings with former Prime Ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', also Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center), and KP Sharma Oli, also Chairman of CPN (UML), according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, H.E. Mr. Wang Yi was received by Foreign Secretary, Mr. Bharat Raj Paudyal and other officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," read a press release of the MoFA.
The visiting Minister will hold delegation-level bilateral talks with Minister for Foreign Affairs Hon. Dr. Narayan Khadka on 26 March 2022, added the press release.
