Kathmandu, Jan 15 : Ruling Nepal Communist Party chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' extended his best wishes on the occasion of indigenous Maghi festival and Makar Sangkranti today.
In the greetings delivered today, NCP chair and former Prime Minister Dahal expressed his confidence that such festivals would help maintain mutual good will, social unity and fraternity among all Nepali people at home and abroad.
"Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-cultural and multi-religious country. Unity in diversity is a fundamental identity of the Nepali people. The multiplicities of language, religions and cultures have encouraged us to take ahead our society with mutual respect and good will", the message stated.
He also wished that the festival may encourage all of us towards building a peaceful, prosperous and progressive Nepal by enhancing a feeling of love, unity and fraternity.
