Chitwan, Dec 27 (RSS):
Chairperson of the ruling Nepal Communist Party and former Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has inspected the under-construction Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium at Rampur in Chitwan today.
Inspecting the stadium, Chair Dahal expressed commitment that his party and the government would provide support in its construction.
He said, "I am excited seeing the construction works of the stadium getting expedited. Carry out the works maintaining quality in order to complete the works on time. We are with you."
Saying Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium is the national pride project, he said that all citizens should be involved to make the construction of the stadium a success.
The NCP chair also urged the bodies concerned to collect donations by forming support committee in all districts, calling all Chitwan folks to support with open heart.
On the occasion, chairperson of Dhurmus Suntali Foundation, Sitaram Kattel, briefed Chair Dahal about the progress achieved in stadium construction and its master plan.
State Assembly member Bijay Subedi and Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Renu Dahal, among others were present on the occasion.
