Kathmandu, Aug. 27: Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada, has said the government has given approval in principlesfor the drafting the bill on e-commerce.
The Cabinet meeting held recently also decided to pass the technical work procedure (process, reporting and data management) on conditional commercial handover at the State and local levels. A four-member delegation will be formed under the leadership of Foreign Minister to attend the informal meeting of the SAARC Ministerial Council.
Similarly, a three-member delegation will be formed under the chairmanship of the Foreign Secretary to attend the 21st BIMSTEC Senior Officials Meeting to be held in Sri Lanka.
Eleven houses and huts to be removed for the approach road to the motorable bridge being built over Ekadashi stream of Sarlahi district would be provided compensation.
Joint Secretary at Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Balram Rijyal, is to be assigned as Executive Director of the Special Economic Sector Authority.
Similarly, the government has given approval for the introduction of aerospace study in the BE level at Pulchowk Campus under the faculty of Institute of Engineering, TU.
For the fiscal year 2077/78, 45 temporary posts of gazetted class would be created under the Ministry of Forest and Environment.
The issuance of no objection paper to the students aspiring for higher study abroad would be resumed.
The Minister further said decision was also made on transfer and installation of officials at various ministries, and Nepal Army.
A talk team will be formed under the coordination of Joint Secretary at Finance Ministry to accept some Rs 11.65 grants to be received from International Monetary Fund for the agricultural development.
