Fungling, Jan 29: People who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 for the second time will be given a booster dose in Taplejung from today. The vaccination shall take place through regular vaccination centres.
A booster dose is being given to those who have been vaccinated six months before. According to the District Vaccine Monitoring and Management Committee, the district is preparing to give booster doses to those in the age group of over 60 years, those who are chronically ill, those who are in the forefront of health and social work.
Acting Chief of the Health Office, Taplejung, Raj Kumar Pokharel said that regular vaccination will be conducted every Saturday at the Municipality-4 Ward Office and Tokmedanda and booster doses will be given through the vaccination centres.
