Khotang, Aug 3 : The Bojhekhola-Sunkoshi rural road at Halesi-Tuwachung municipality has come into operation. The 12-km road connects ward-3 Chyasmitar Bojhekhola with the Sunkoshi river bank via Chhokmala of ward-5, Durchhim.
In order to link the most remote areas of Haide and Damdale, the municipality has had put on top priority the Bojhekhola-Chhokmala-Damdale-Haide-Sunkoshi suspension bridge.
For the road construction, the municipality had appropriated a budget of Rs 1.5 million two years back while the state government has also allocated Rs one million in the last fiscal year, shared municipality mayor Iwan Rai.
