Chitwan, Jan 21 : The Narayanghat-Muglin road section which was obstructed due to a dry landslide has come into operation since 11 am today. The road section had been blocked due to the deposition of landslide debris at Kalikhola of Icchyakamana Rural Municipality-6 at 2.30 am today.
Engineer at the Narayanghat-Muglin Road Project, Krishna Acharya said the work of removing the landslide debris from the road had been started since the night. Three excavators and a loader were employed to remove the road blockade.
He said the landslide debris has covered 30 metres stretch of the road. According to him, the landslide has taken place from nearly 30 metres above the road. Traffic has been resumed on this section with the clearance of the road.
