Bagmati, Feb 1: The Bagmati province government is to set up three fertilizer industries at different places in the province.
The province Council of Ministers which met on Monday decided to forward the process of opening fertilizer industries in collaboration with a Thai company, Bagmati province government spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Krishna Sharma Khanal, said.
He informed that the provincial government is in consultations with the Thai company in this regard while discussions will also be held with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for ensuring regular power supply to the fertilizer industries.
According to him, the industries will be of medium-scale rather than big scale and investment.
The province Council of Ministers has also decided to determine the parameter of the multi-year contracts to be operated under the provincial government and to bring into operation the Provincial Civil Service Records Office.
It likewise decided to make Master's level education free for all girl students who have studied in the community school, spokesperson Khanal said.
