By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 22: A book entitled Aadha Bato (half way) has been launched amidst a programme today. Penned by Sudan Kumar Oli, who often writes on socio-economic issues, the book is a collection of memories of the writer from his childhood to the period when he enrolled for doing PhD.
Published by Oxygen Media, the book gives a vivid picture of rural life along with the writer's feelings as he grows. Both tragic and pleasant feelings have been presented in this collection of memories.
Most of the characters and places described in the book are real.
Writers Mahesh Paudyal and Dilli Ram Sharma commented that the book offered a new taste and provided a window into the rural life, struggles and feelings of an aspiring thinker.
