Local level election
Kathmandu, April 5: The Election Commission has taken a commitment from 79 political parties for the effective implementation of the code of conduct in local level elections.
On Tuesday, the commission summoned 79 parties to commit to adhering to the code of conduct.
Saying that the code of conduct cannot be violated in the local level election to be held on May 13, the commission's information officer Surya Prasad Aryal informed that a commitment has been made for its effective implementation on Tuesday.
