By Mahima Devkota, Kathamndu, Aug. 23: A total of 700,726 people have received a full dose of vaccine against COVID-19 in the capital so far. Similarly, 984,655 people have received a single dose.
The total number of people receiving both single and double-dose vaccines against COVID-19 in Kathmandu stands at 1,685,381.
Badri Bahadur Khadka, chief of the Health Office, Kathmandu, said, “A total of 700,726 people have received a complete shot of vaccine against COVID-19, of them, 139,206 have been inoculated with Covishield, 404,734 received Vero Cell and 156,786 have received Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of now.”.
"So far, out of 984,655 single-dose vaccines received people, 220,777 have received Covishield, and 763878 have received Vero Cell," he added.
Chief Khadka further said that out of 1,685, 381 people who received both single and complete shots 359,983 have received Covishield, 1,168,612 have been inoculated with Vero Cell vaccine and 156,786 have received Johnson & Johnson vaccine so far.
