Biratnagar, April 15 : Six hundred and forty one people have tested negative for coronavirus in State-1 as of Tuesday. Of the 251 throat swab samples collected from as many suspected coronavirus cases, including 46 women, 239 samples tested negative as per the PCR test. The reports of 12 people are awaited, the State-1 Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Information Desk stated.
The Information Desk stated that all the 402 throat swab samples have tested negative under rapid diagnostic test (RDT). Throat swab samples were collected from 402 people including 56 women was tested under RDT. Out of this, the lab report of 20 samples is awaited.
Five hundred and thirty eight people, including 49 women, have been kept in quarantine facilities in the state. Fifty three people have returned home from quarantine.
