Surkhet, Oct. 4 : An additional 51 persons tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Karnali state on Saturday. Of them 42 were confirmed at the Karnali state hospital and nine at the Dailekh hospital laboratory, according to the Social Development Ministry's education officer Nawaraj Kandel.
Of the new additions on Saturday, 12 are health workers. This takes the total number of infected to 3,780 in the state.
Also on Saturday, 45 people recovered from the deadly virus and returned home from isolation centres. The total number of recoveries so far is 3,090.
