By Kamal Sharma, Dailekh, May 30: A 35-year old male, who died today in quarantine set up at Dullu Municipality-7 of Dailekh has tested positive for COVID-19.
His RT-PCR test was performed at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, said Dr Laxmi Narayan Tiwari, Chief of Health Service Division under Karnali State Ministry of Social Development.
His swab sample was collected on May 28 for the test.
"We are discussing with District Administration Office about the procedure of his cremation," said Ghanashyam Bhandari, Mayor of Dullu Municipality.
The deceased had entered Nepal from India on May 22.
With this, the COVID-19 death toll of Nepal has reached seven.
