Kathmandu, Dec. 29
Police, on Sunday arrested 27 party cadres of banned Netra Bikram Chand-led group from Exhibition Road, Kathmandu.
They were arrested while they preparing for a demonstration in the Exhibition Road, informed Shyamlal Gyawali, Senior Superintendent of Police and spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Office, Kathmandu.
Gyawali said that they arrested 27 workers after they tried to violate the ban imposed against them.
Police have kept them in Mahendra Police Club.
