By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Nov. 30: A film based on Nepali characters and stories, 14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible, was premiered for the first time on Netflix on Monday worldwide.
The film tells the story of a fearless Nepali mountaineer Nimsdai Purja, who embarks on a seemingly impossible quest to summit all 14 mountains measuring over 8,000 meters of the world in seven months through ‘Project Possible’ project.
Netflix has released this film under its ‘Travel Adventure and Documentary’ genera.
The film is written, directed, and produced by Torquil Jones.
Jimmy Chin, Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, and Nirmal 'Nimsdai' Purja are executive producers of the movie produced under the banner of Noah Media Group and Little Monster Films.
The film begins with the dialogue ‘don’t be afraid to dream big, doesn’t matter where you come from, you can show the world nothing is impossible'.
The film is about courage, perseverance and human endurance and finding the possibility and succeeding even in the impossibility.
Actor of the film Nirmal ‘Nimsdai’ Purja born in 1983 in Myagdi district holds multiple mountaineering world records. Prior to mountaineering, he served in the British Army.
