After the COVID -19 pandemic and the closure of the theatres, the digital platform has become the first choice for filmmakers to release their works.
Whether it is a new movie or a movie that has already been released in the halls, the filmmakers are benefiting by releasing their movies from various digital platforms.
Producer Shovit Basnet has released his new film Laxmi Puja through various digital platforms due to the closer of the cinema theatres.
Meanwhile, a comedy film 12 Mase has been made public in YouTube. The film, dominated by popular comedians, was made public a week ago in Highlights Nepal's official YouTube channel.
The movie, which tells the story of young and old people gambling, is loved by the YouTube viewers.
The movie 12 Mase, which did not get an audience in the hall, has managed to get a good audience in YouTube.
Taking the opportunity of Dashain festival, the film made public by Highlight Nepal from its YouTube channel has also succeeded to reach the trending level.
Comedian Pradip Pathak, popularly known as Nakkali Prachanda, has written and produced the film 12 Mase which is receiving more viewers in YouTube.
In the movie directed by Laya Sangraula, actors Jai Kishan Basnet, Pujana Pradhan, Marichman Shrestha, Puran Thapa, Pradip Pathak, Sonika Bastola, Sabnam Dahal and Radha Shrestha among other are featured.
The music is directed by Arjun Pokhrel and Kalyan Singh while cinematography is by Basu Neupane.
