By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 9: Foreign tourists also celebrated Holi festival today in the capital city with much enthusiasm, smearing colors with each other and exchanging best wishes also with the locals.
Tourism entrepreneurs say many tourists visit Nepal during the Holi festival so as also to feel the joy of the festival of colours.
Holi festival was celebrated at different parts of the capital city happily although the district administrations have banned concerts and events of big gathering keeping in view the risk of coronavirus infection
and urged the revellers to stay away from crowds.
Police Inspector at tourist police office based in Bhrikutimandap, Asmita Kapali, informed that Holi celebrations had been going well and peacefully till Monday afternoon and that the tourist police had received only one complaint by a tourist about misbehaviour.
