Kathmandu, Dec. 19: A vaccination campaign against COVID-19 has been started today targeting children.
The ministry of Heal and Population has launched a Moderna vaccination campaign in 57 districts of the country since Sunday. The ministry aims to vaccinate about 1.8 million children between the ages of 12 and 17.
The vaccination campaign will run till December 29. The ministry has stated that the children who have been vaccinated with the first dose will get the second dose from January 16 to 26.
According to Sagar Dahal, Chief of the Child Health and Vaccination Branch of Family Welfare Division, under the Health Services Department, the vaccination campaign is being conducted from schools in 57 districts of the country.
