By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 12: The Supreme Court witnessed the absence of a single hearing of any case today although Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana had set eight benches including a single bench for himself.
The lack of hearing occurred as a result of the lawyers' protest against the police intervention in the sit-in organised by the Nepal Bar Association at the SC premises on Thursday.
The lawyers had decided to protest the police intervention by boycotting their advocacy on any of the cases and hearing including that of the habeas corpus for today.
