By Mahima Devkota, Kathmandu, July 7: As many as 82,924 people got their second jabs of Vero Cell vaccine across the country on Tuesday.
According to Dr Jhalak Sharma Gautam, chief of the National Immunisation Programme, 82,924 people were vaccinated with the second dose of Vero Cell yesterday in the vaccination campaign in 41 districts.
“32,000 people have been vaccinated in the Kathmandu Valley, however, full details are yet to come,” said Dr. Gautam.
All the remaining districts will start their vaccination campaign within a day or two, he added.
Dr. Gautam said that all those who received their first dose on a weeklong vaccination campaign from 8 June are to receive their second dose, along with those who missed their second jabs of Vero Cell from previous vaccination campaign.
