By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 4: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Friday confirmed 14 COVID-19 related deaths.
Four females and 10 males succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry, in the daily press briefing today.
Of the four females, three aged 82, 67 and 22 are from Kathmandu and a 35-year-old is from Chitwan.
Of the 10 males, two aged 55 each are from Saptari, a 65-year-old from Dhanusa, a 31-year-old from Kaski, a 37-year-old from Nawalparasi, a 58-year-old from Pyuthan, a 78-year-old from Rupandehi, a 63-year-old from Palpa and a 42-year-old from Surkhet.
All the 14 were infected with the novel coronavirus and they died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.
With this, the COVID-19 death toll of Nepal has reached 271.
