By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 6: Infection of SARS-CoV-2 that causes COVID-19 has been found at 23 different places of the Kathmandu valley.
28 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the valley in the last 24 hours alone. Till the date, 259 have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley. Of the total, 175 persons are from Kathmandu, 41 are from Lalitpur and 43 from Bhaktapur.
Infected persons in Kathmandu are from places like Chandragiri, Budhanilakantha, Dhumbarahi, Tarakeshwor, Golfutar, Kirtipur(Tyanglaphant), Dhapasi, Basundhara, Naikap, Teku, Handigaun and Kuleshor, according to Dr. Basu Dev Panday, director at Epidemiology and Disease Control Division.
Similarly, infected persons in Lalitpur were from Dhobighat, Chapagaun, Kupandole, Gwarko, Khangbubahal, Gotikhel, Bhainsepati, Godabari and Thecho while in Bhaktapur, they were from Balkot and Gaththaghar.
