By Keshav Raj Poudel, Kathmandu, Sept. 8: Chief District Officers (CDOs) of the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley have started a virtual meeting with the security agencies, industrialists and traders as well as doctors in public hospitals about the prohibitory order that is in force till Wednesday night.
Janak Raj Dahal, Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, informed that the CDOs of the three districts were having a virtual meeting with the security agencies and industrialists.
A meeting of the Chief District Officers, District Security Committees and District Crisis Management Centers of the three districts will decide on the prohibitory order this evening.
According to Dahal, a decision will be taken whether to extend the prohibitory order or not in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The discussion is underway with Valley's Mayor Forum, entrepreneurs, transport businessmen and doctors, added Dahal.
A meeting of CDOs of three districts, District Security Committee and District Crisis Management Center will make a decision after incorporating the suggestion received from the meeting.
After the meeting, the issue of adding a prohibitory order or changing the modality will be discussed in coordination with the Home Ministry, said CDO, Dahal.
