By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 4: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed two COVID-19 deaths today.
Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry confirmed two COVID-19 deaths in the daily press briefing today.
A 44-year old male of Gorkha, died of COVID-19 on July 4, informed Dr Gautam.
He had returned from Qatar on July 1 and was admitted to Gorkha hospital on July 3. He was also suffering from diabetes.
Likewise, a 75-year old Tuberculosis and pneumonia patient admitted to TU Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu who died on July 1 was found to be COVID-19 positive.
Dr Gautam said that the Nepali Army (NA) were deployed for cremation of the dead bodies.
With this, the COVID-19 death toll of Nepal has reached 34 and the case count has reached 15,491 including 6,415 cases of recovery.
