By Deepak Prasad Gautam, Birgunj, Aug. 23: Two COVID-19 patients, receiving treatment at the Birgunj Health Care temporary COVID-19 Hospital, have fled from the isolatin center on Sunday.
“Chhotu Tiwari and Ram Majhi are the ones who escaped from the hospital while they were undergoing treatment at the hospital’s isolation ward,” said DSP Manojit Kunwar, spokesperson for Parsa District Police.
They had tested positive for COVID-19 while they were in detention at the Parsa District Police Office.
As per Kunwar, they are searching the duo and have also lodged a case under public crime.
