Chitwan, Sept 16 : Traffic has been resumed on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section after clearing the landslide debris on the road. Mudslide had occurred at Charkilo and Paanchkilo of the road section this morning.
One-way traffic has been resumed at four locations on the road section while the debris has been cleared at other places.
Chief of the District Traffic Police Office, Daya Krishna Bhatta said the road section was obstructed due to the mudslide occurred at 5.45 am today.
The traffic has resumed since 11 am, he said. According to Bhatta, the road section has been opened one-way at Satrakilo, Simaltaal, Rigdikhola and Bhaludhunga.
Chief of Division Road Office Bharatpur, Krishna Raj Adhikari said works are on to open two-way traffic at the places where one-way traffic has been resumed.
Landslide had occurred at multiple places on the road section on Monday night.
The Office said the greatest number of landslides have occurred on the road section in the last five years.
