By Nagendra Sapkota, Kathmandu, May 25: The Tokha Municipality has started tracing those who had come in direct contact with 27 and 41 year old COVID-19 patients of Tokha Municipality-3 and 6.
The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), earlier today had confirmed COVID-19 infection in them.
According to the initial study, both the COVID-19 patients had entered the valley recently, said Gyan Maya Dangol, Deputy Mayor of the Municipality.
"One of the patients had bought a cold store at around 100 meters south of Grande Hospital three months ago and another patient is said to be an astrologer," said Dangol. "Their details, however, are yet to be verified."
She also made it clear that rumor about them being in contact with the first COVID-19 deceased postpartum woman of Sindhupalchowk was false and baseless.
Meanwhile, Budhanilkantha Municipality has said that details as to 37-year old COVID-19 patient of Budhanilkantha-3 were being verified.
