By Deepak Gyawali, Butwal, May 9: The three youths of Kapilvastu who tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday had also sneaked into Nepal from the same open border area between Nepal and India from where the other two infected persons had stealthily entered.
They had all returned from Mumbai, India, but entered Nepal in separate groups from the no man's land near Chakarchaurah of Kapilvastu.
The three youths are the residents of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-2, according to the district administration office, Kapilvastu, and their health condition is said to be normal.
They were kept in the quarantine at Tirthadevi Chhatrapali Secondary School since May 5.
Preparations are underway to bring them in the Butwal based Corona Special Hospital.
The infected youths have said they came to the quarantine straight.
Dirgha Narayan Paudel, Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kapilvastu, however, said they were yet to collect true information from the locals in this regard.
The two youths who had tested positive for the virus two days earlier are also from Mayadevi Rural Municipality-2. The three youths and the two youths who tested positive for the virus had, however, returned Nepal in separate groups, according to the locals.
