Galkot, Aug 24 : As many as 11 schools in Baglung district will begin to provide computer class from the new academic session.
The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has provided technical assistance for the same.
Each school has been provided with computer, projector, sound system, and internet among others necessary logistics based on the number of students and demand.
Bhimsen Secondary School’s teacher Dilliraj Upadhyay shared that each school received some 10 to 30 set of computer and other tools.
Rudrepipal secondary school and Prithivi Hiranya Secondary School, Janakalyan Secondary School, Bhimsen Secondary School, Nepal Secondary
School and Ratna Rajyalaxmi secondary school among others schools received in-kind support.
The use of multimedia is expected to aid teaching learning activities and make it more effective while enabling students to operate computer and internet, said teacher Upadhyay.
NTA’s Achyutananda Mishra shared that the OBCI/Mac/Nepa JB had been selected after tender to install computers and other equipment in the selected schools of the district.
