Kathmandu, April 13 : Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Lekhraj Bhatta has said the government was making every possible effort for rendering the supply system easy and smooth in the present crisis situation.
In a message of best wishes on the occasion of the New Year 2077 and the Bishu Festival today, he said although it was natural the concern for livelihood and supplies would be generated following the lockdown, the supply system has been made smooth and black marketeering has been curbed with the cooperation of all.
Noting that the government was moving ahead making the supply system easy and smooth in the short run and completely putting the impact of the coronavirus pandemic to an end in the production sector in the long run, he hoped the New Year could be looked forward to as a year of notable progress made possible with the cooperation received from the people.
"I believe we would be able to overcome this challenge through collective efforts. Our collective resolve and initiatives would enable all of us to overcome the mountain of challenges," Minister Bhatta said in his message.
