By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 31: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Monday confirmed seven COVID-19 related deaths.
Three females and four males succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr. Jaheshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
A four-year-old girl of Mahottari, a 65-year old female of Gorkha and a 68-year old female of Rupandehi and four males aged 86 of Jhapa, 40 of Rautahat, 78 of Chitwan and 77 of Bhaktapur, who were infected with the novel coronavirus died in the last 24 hours.
With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 228.
