Kathmandu, July 3 : Rainfall has been forecast throughout the country for the next three days as monsoon has become active.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has urged all to adopt necessary alertness to be safe from landslide and flood as there is possibility of rain in the next few days.
Meteorologist Ganga Nagarkoti shared that there are chances of rainfall occurring throughout the country for next three days. According to the Division, rain with thunderstorm has been predicted in all states of the country in next 24 hours.
Similarly, there is possibility of heavy rainfall at some places of State-1, 5, Bagmati state, Gandaki state and Sudurpaschim state. So the Division has advised adopting measures to be safe from landslide, flood and inundation. It also forewarned that road and air services might be affected.
Nagarkoti said, “The weather will remain cloudy across the country this afternoon and light to moderate rain will take place.”
Light to moderate rainfall is taking place at some places of Sudurpaschim state, State-5, Bagmati state and Karnali state.
As per the latest weather data shared by the Division, today’s minimum temperature in Kathmandu valley is recorded at 12 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature at 31 degrees Celsius.
