By Sanjaya Kumar Mishra, Gaur, Aug. 8: The Rautahat District Administration Office has issued a prohibitory order across the district for a week.
After the community transmission of COVID-19 was recorded, the DAO decided to issue prohibitory order across the district from Saturday, August 8.
After the prohibition was imposed on stepping out of the houses, operation of shops and transportation services, except for essential services, Gaur, Pipara, Garuda, Samanpur, Chandrapur and Katahariya have worn a stranded look.
Those defying the order would be punished as per the law, said the DAO.
The meeting of District Security Committee, chaired by Chief District Officer Bashudev Ghimire had decided to impose a prohibitory order in the district from August 8 to 16.
Ram Naresh Sah, an official of Rautahat DAO said that all services except health, electricity, communication, waste management services and transportation of gas, medicine and food supplies were halted for a week.
