Pokhara, june 26 : Pokhara metropolis has announced to grant subsidy to taxpayers reasoning the lockdown against the pandemic of COVID-19 has invariably affected economic and business transaction.
In its annual budget for the fiscal year 2077/78 BS, the Pokhara metropolis has announced waiving three-month house rent of its shutter and buildings.
Deputy mayor Manju Devi Gurung informed that arrangement has been made in a way to adjust waiver amount in the first quarter of the upcoming fiscal year 2077/78.
The deputy mayor informed that an arrangement has been made to waive house rent tax of lockdown period if the house owners waived house rent during the same. She also shared the subsidy arrangement would be made by developing a concrete standard keeping into consideration the COVID-19 effects on the business of the regular taxpayers of the metropolis. ---
