Tamghas, May 22: The COVID-19 test of the majority of suspected ones coming in contact with person from Gulmi who succumbed to the deadly infection yesterday has come negative.
Altogether 36 persons from Madane Rural Municipality of Gulmi district were put to test after contract tracing. The report of 25 persons have come negative while the report of remaining 11 is awaited, informed District Health Office, Gulmi’s Information Officer Pashupati Acharya.
The District Health Office, Gulmi, had facilitated the collection of nasal swab from the suspected ones and their tests were conducted under the PCR procedure following the day the person on their contact was confirmed to have contracted the infection in Butwal.
