Chitwan, Sept 12 : One of the three persons who died at Bharatpur hospital has been confirmed positive to Corona Virus. The 46-year-old man from ward no. 2 of Ratnanagar municipality tested positive to the virus.
The man had died at the emergency department of the hospital on Thursday night. A swab sample had been taken following the death, which tested positive to COVID-19. Two others including an 18-year-old girl of Rapti municipality-4 and a 22-year-old girl of Khairhani municipality however tested negative.
The 18-year-old girl died upon reaching the hospital on Friday morning while the 22-year-old died during treatment in the Intensive Care Unit, according to information officer of the hospital Liladhar Poudel. All the three had been suffering from fever, cough and shortness in breath, hence a swab sample was taken for testing.
It may be noted that three people had died on a single day at the emergency department of the hospital on August 30. All three tested positive to Corona Virus, after death.
