By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 22: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 10 COVID-19 related deaths today.
Eight males and a female child succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
A 6-year-old female of Sunsari, three males aged 61, 58 and 48 of Parsa, a 58-year-old male of Bara, a 68-year old male of Siraha, a 56-year-old male of Makwanpur and a 73-year-old male of Bhaktapur, diagnosed with the SARS-CoV-2 infection, died in the last 24 hours.
The COVID-19 death toll has now reached 146 and the death rate of Nepal stands at 0.5 per cent.
