By Dipak Gyawali, Butwal, June 7: Nine COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in isolation at All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Academy have recovered from the virus infection. They were discharged from the isolation centre on Sunday.
Nine patients, eight from Kapilvastu, including ward chair and an eight year old girl and one from Rupandehi were discharged in line the World Health Organisation (WHO) standards after they tested negative for COVID-19, said Shiva Raj Subedi, Mayor of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City.
Subedi said that seven out of nine patients had entered Nepal from India.
They were admitted to the isolation centre on May 24.
Requesting the COVID-19 recovered patients to take due care their health at home, Chakrapani Sharma, Chief Administrative Officer of the sub-metropolitan city provided thermometer, masks and gloves to them.
Currently, 32 patients are receiving treatment in isolation at ANFA Academy.
Mohan Mishra, Butwal Public Health Officer deployed at the isolation centre said, "Along with conducting regular health check-ups of the patients we are also conducting yoga, exercise and dance classes to keep the patients positive and motivated."
